The Blackout’s blade is a classic drop-point, perfect for handling a wide range of tasks. The blade steel is high-performance 14C28N. Developed in a partnership between Kershaw and Sandvik Steel, this stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance, hardness, and edge retention. To enhance that performance even more, we added a black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) scratch-resistant blade coating. If you prefer a little serration with your blade, this Serrated Blackout is an excellent choice.
