Meanwhile an IKBS™ ball bearing pivot system makes it easy to deploy the tanto tip blade anywhere. Mars, for instance. Knifemaker Terry Lee Renner of Palmetto, Florida, has always been intrigued by sharp lines. He took a lot of inspiration from his deep-relief wood carving, and incorporated it into the design of the Deviation™. Renner wanted to create a knife that would inspire the same intrigue he feels for those sharp powerful lines, in every person that touches the handle, and he did just that with this one of a kind knife. The IKBS™ ball bearing pivot system deploys the blade smoothly and quickly. And once open, a two–toned tanto blade with mirror polish on the grind signals to any, and all, life forms that you're ready to get to work.
